The surrounding area was peaceful, yet slightly
busy due to the nearby main road and railway, which could be a bit disruptive. However, the beautifully maintained garden and access to a private beach made for lovely moments of relaxation. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided useful tips for local excursions.

The views from the room balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore were absolutely breathtaking, and I loved enjoying breakfast with such a lovely scenery every morning.

Massive rooms with a stunning lake-view balcony—perfect for family vibes! Owners are super friendly and even gave us a lift to the train station when taxis were shy. Exclusive access to the lake? Yes, please!
Beware, the occasional train rumble turns your room into a vibrating karaoke club! Who knew sleep could be such a bumpy ride?

Staying at Villa Ruscello was a joy. The family-run B&B offered a relaxing atmosphere with breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore. My room had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake, perfect for morning coffee while soaking in the stunning sunrise. The private beach access was a fantastic bonus, making it easy to enjoy a quick swim. I appreciated the English-speaking staff, who provided great tips on local eateries and boat schedules. Breakfast each day featured a delightful selection of fresh pastries and fruit. However, the parking situation was a bit inconvenient. The parking lot is across a busy road, which isn’t ideal, especially with luggage in tow. Also, there were quite a few stairs to navigate from the entrance to the main building, which could be challenging for guests with mobility issues. But overall, the warmth of the hosts and the charm of the location made this stay memorable.

Staying in the Double with Balcony and Lake View was a mixed bag. The view was stunning, especially at sunrise, but the room had a bit of a musty smell, and there were no tea-making facilities, which was a bummer. It was hefty on the stairs to get to the room, and crossing the busy road to the parking lot was tricky. Still, the balcony view was totally worth it!
